1. Item Submission

The client submits a loose gemstone or jewelry item.

The item is logged and assigned a unique identification number.

2. Initial Assessment

Basic details like weight, measurements, and initial observations are recorded. The item is photographed before testing begins.

3. Gemological Testing

AIG experts use advanced equipment to determine; whether the stone is natural or lab-grown.

The 4Cs (Carat, Cut, Clarity, Color) for diamonds

Optical and physical properties for colored stones

4. Jewelry Evaluation

In case of mounted jewelry, gemstone details are assessed in the setting.

Stone type, quality, and estimated weights are noted.

5. Grading & Report Generation

A comprehensive certificate is prepared that includes:

Type and origin of the stone;

Grading results

Treatment status (if any)

6. Photo & Video Documentation

AIG provides high-quality photo and video documentation of the item to support transparency and marketing.

7. Certificate Delivery

A physical and online-verifiable certificate is issued.
